Horse North Rescue has a customized pelleted feed that was developed with the help and guidance of Hubbard Feeds, a veterinarian and a Phd. Nutritionist.

   We wanted a good quality pelleted feed that would supply our horses all of thier dietary needs but make feeding easy for us. We wanted to eliminate the need to use numerous feeds to get the results we desired so we approached the Hubbard Feed Company about putting it all together into one pellet for us.

   Horse North Rescue Deluxe Feed was born.

   We have used this feed to safely put 25-75 lbs a week on skinny horses, senior horses, grow babies not to mention we use it on all of our average horses.

   We have been thrilled with the results. One year when the hay quality was bad all over Northern Michigan our horses maintained their top lines when many others suffered. We used this feed. We even had comments about our horses condition from out vet and farrier. We have had a lot of horses in and out and with all sorts of issues. Before we might have a case of colic a couple times over the course of a year, now we have not had any in two years.

   In our experience with trying other pellets/feeds in comparision, it took 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of the Horse North Feed to acheive the same results as many other feeds. This saved us time (before we used 3 different types of feeds) and a lot of money we had been spending on large quanities of those feeds. The average cost of Horse North Rescue Deluxe Feed is around $10 for a 50 lb bag. If you figure you use 1/3 to 1/2 the amount as many other feeds... that saves money!

   When other people saw the results we were acheiving they began to ask how they could get it. We then went back to Hubbard and asked if they would allow any Hubbard Distributor to carry it for other people to purchase, and now you can talk to any Hubbard distributor and they can get our custom blend for you.
