Horse North Rescue is 100% volunteer run organization.
Listed are some specific areas we need help with:
- Long term and short term foster homes.
- Help organizingand hosting fundraisers.
"Unfortunately, due to liability insurance issues we can not currently host any volunteer opportunities that include horse/human hands on contact. " We are equally discouraged by this and are working towards a happy medium that will allow us to still serve our community and most of all the horses entrusted to our care!
How do I begin to volunteer?
We are tring to organize ways to utilize volunteers of all types. We plan to post some specific project workbee days, and hope to offer a farm day once a month where the public can tour the facility and get more information about all of our programs. Look for this in 2011.
